I am writing this letter to tell you about the satisfying experience we had purchasing and installing our new Hot Springs Flash spa. There are two undeniable reasons why we went to Atlantic Spas and Billiards to make our selection and purchase. First, we are previous owners of a Hot Spring Grandee, that we sold with our house when we retired. The second reason is Ms. Ginger Porter. Ms. Porter is not only professional in her sales ability and her presentation skill, but she also has an extensive knowledge of the product specifications and functions. We had been in the store a couple of times and every time Ms. Porter was there to show us new products and answer our questions. When we finally made our purchase, she made us very comfortable through the short paperwork process. When the spa arrived at the store, she worked hard to schedule the delivery of the spa to arrive at the same time as my installation contractor and the guy with the big forklift truck. The Atlantic Spas’ delivery team arrived early. My contractor was already there removing the deck railing out of the way. But, the forklift guy had a problem and he could not come until late that afternoon. The delivery team determined that the lift onto the deck was within their ability. The moved the spa into position in its side and leaned it on the deck. The four men on the delivery team and my contractor lifted the 850-pound spa straight up, leveraged it on to the deck and pushed it into place. It was amazing. The delivery team was not finished. They took off all the packing material and put it on their truck. They assembled our handrail and steps. They also did not leave until they had answered all my questions and all my contractors questions regarding installation and operation. This was truly the best delivery experience that we have had from anyone since moving to our retirement home on Lake Kerr. I rate both Ginger Porter and the spa delivery team to be outstanding in every way. I would have to say to them, “Don’t change anything, just keep doing what you are doing.”Andrew F.

Having owned a Hot Spring spa previously, it was a no-brainer buying another one when we moved from Ohio to North Carolina. The spa quality, workmanship, features and energy efficiency made our decision easy. Also, the dealer is an important part of the buying decision, too. We have a Hot Springs Grandee sold to us 3 years ago by Kane at your Raleigh store. He has always been available whenever we had any questions and made the sales’ experience enjoyable! We had our first major service on 06/15/2012. Duane, the store service manager, quickly made our appointment, and the service technician, Andy Hines, was excellent!! He quickly diagnosed and fixed our spa. I highly recommend Atlantic Spas and Billiards!!!!

I have an older spa and called Atlantic for some assistance in getting it refurbished and in top running shape again. I spoke with Dwayne in their service dept and discussed my options. He suggested that one of their technicians come out and take a look at it to appraise what needed to be done. Andy came out to my house and checked out the spa. It had not been running for several months and would not heat water. I was fully prepared to be to be told that my hot tub needed to have the heater replaced and that I would be spending a good bit of money. However, Andy determined that some of the wiring in the control box had been burned and all he needed to do was replace them. Andy had everything he needed on his truck to replace several of the massagers in my tub and he even replaced the control panel. The total bill was quite a bit less than I had expected and I could not have been happier! Great job and outstanding service!

We bought our Hot Spot Spa from Patsy @ Atlantic Spa & Billiards almost 2 years ago and we have truly been overly-satisfied with it. I couldn’t imagine life with out my spa, but it’s important to have the good service & knowledge to go with it; that’s where Patsy has made our life easier with chemical knowledge, water testing, cleaning, and routine maintenance. We’ve only had one minor issue, which was probably my fault, and we called up Patsy at 1:00 PM on a Saturday, and she was out there within an hour and fixed the problem. After checking all over town and comparing price, service and customer service, Phoebe at Atlantic Spas and Billiards was the friendliest, most helpful and knowledgeable person we dealt with. My wife and I had visited Atlantic Spas and Billiards several times, knowing we’d buy our first spa when the time was right. Atlantic has a beautiful showroom that seemed to draw us in. When I heard a good sale was going on, we decided to stop by again. We talked extensively with Phoebe, who was patient and happy to spend time with us. She listened closely to our desires, and carefully guided us to the right spa for our needs, but applied NO pressure to purchase. We went for it, and gladly so. During the wait for manufacturing, I sent Phoebe several emails concerning our electrician, spa positioning, chemicals, and more. She took the time to respond in a timely manner each time, even ACCURATELY sketching out our patio to ensure she was responding correctly to my descriptions. Impressive! Once our spa was delivered, Phoebe checked in on us and shared tips and tricks on spa care. A month later, our spa has been clean and clear consistently, with almost daily use. Phoebe is a virtual encyclopedia of information, and my wife and I are deeply appreciative of the time and care she took with our purchase. She knows how to take care of customers, and because of that, we will continue to buy our supplies, and any future spa purchase/upgrade from Atlantic. We purchased our new spa with help from Ginger. She made the entire purchase fun and answered all our questions before and after the purchase! Dave and his crew did a great job with the delivery, as well as, taking away our old spa. Ginger even called to be sure everything went well and that our spa was delivered and working well. I would highly recommend Ginger and Atlantic spas!

I knew I wanted a hot tub. Didn’t know which brand I wanted, but I do believe in you get what you pay for. Atlantic spa is the only place that sells jacuzzi and everyone knows they are one of the best. So that’s where I ended up at. I went there with limited internet knowledge (we all do some research before we invest our money) with a few things in mind. My sells rep was Phoebe. She asked me more questions then I asked her. She wanted me to get the hot tub that was what I needed, not what they wanted to sell. Of course this was primarily based on the amount I wanted to spend and the space I had to use. Nonetheless, this was going to be a large investment between 7-9K depending on what I ended up with. She paired me up with a few different ones to choose from and gave me the different types of water options with each. And I ended up with a hot springs, not the more expensive jacuzzi brand. After a while I made my selection. At this time I didn’t have my HOA approval for a hot tub, nor was my deck built. I put down a deposit and they stored it at there facility without charge for a good 6 weeks. Once everything was done, I had my delivery date set. They don’t sub contract workers. These are their employees. They took extra care moving a 900 pound hot tub without scratching or denting my brand new deck. They aligned it to the way I wanted it. The hot tub also comes with the chemicals needed to balance your water. Never owning a hot tub before, I was confused when I was testing the water. Phoebe helped me out over the phone and explained each chemical to me and what it does and how it works with/against the other chemicals. I just couldn’t it perfectly balanced my self. I visited Atlantic spa again and meet with Phoebe again. She (again) held my hand and walked me through the chemicals. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable!! I went back home, added what I thought was needed and how she explained it, and an hour later, perfect testing strip! When I called to thank her, she was doing what she does, helping another customer. Although I did leave a voice mail. Bottom line, Atlantic Spa has some great products, but more importantly, their customer service is beyond reproach. They go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied.

We had a great experience at Atlantic when purchasing a pool table for our game room recently. Kane is top notch, very knowledgeable, and helped our family pick out the perfect pool table size within our budget. He even came to our home to take measurements to ensure we got the right size table (8’). When a pool stick wrap unwrapped a couple weeks after the purchase, Atlantic replaced the entire set and gave us a free upgrade. We were happy to return to Atlantic to purchase a new ping pong table for our son just weeks later and I even indulged and purchased a new McDermott and breaking cue, which I love. Highly recommend Atlantic.

Our family has enjoyed many years of enjoyable service and great products from Atlantic Spas and Billiards in Raleigh. We’ve had several beautiful hot tubs and years of excellent and quick service when needed on these hot tubs which allows for continuous enjoyment. The Green Egg offering there also gives us optional accessories for those fun year-round BBQ’s. Ping pong top for our billiards table is the next fun goal. First of all I would like to mention that Atlantic spas and billiards has provided us with any part needed for our 1997 spa that we had. When that spa finally met it’s doom, we knew we had to replace it with another Hot Springs spa because of the service and quality of those spas. We made many visits to their show room and worked with Phoebe to decide on the spa we wanted to replace our old one with. She was outstanding! She never hesitated to give us the best possible customer service and support through our decision-making process. We decided on going with the glow model that suited our needs the best. After prepping the ground for our spa, Dave and his crew came out to install our new spa, and remove our old one. They were extremely professional, careful, and very personable. They did excellent work with the installation and took great care in making sure there was no damage to anything. They made quick work of their job, but did not rush. I can’t recommend them any higher, if there were 10 stars they would have gotten a TEN! If you’re looking for a good quality spa and great customer service, call Atlantic spas and billiards. You will find yourself writing a review much like this one!

This place is great. We purchased a hot tub from Atlantic last year and a smoker in recent weeks, and have found the service and our purchases to be top notch. I am currently deployed in Iraq and due to return back to Raleigh in 1 1/2 weeks. I have decided to purchase our very first spa for my family and been doing a lot of research online on the Hot Springs Spa. I called Atlantic Spas and Billiards just talk to a sales rep about the different spas they carry. I spoke to Ginger and have to say I am very impressed with how professional and attentive she was with all the questions I had for her. She even sent me an email with the current models they have for sale. And because the customer service was that great, I plan on doing business with Ginger and Atlantic Spas and Billiards the week I arrive back home.

I recently had an issue with my home jet tub needing all nozzles replaced; ended finding out that my jet tub was discontinued. The part wasn’t available online, and I called around inquiring about this pesky part. I got the round around and lack of help since I wasn’t buying a new tub (why spent time with someone that isn’t replacing a unit); however, Phoebe from Atlantic Spas, took the time to ask questions and helping me to find the part. She went out of her way to send photos of the part so I wouldn’t need to drive 20 miles if it wasn’t the right part. The staff are very patient, respectful, and extremely helpful. This is the type of business that I like to bring my business to since it isn’t always about how much you spend. Thank you Phoebe and Atlantic Spas!

Duane, the head of the service department, is super responsive and reliable. I left an early morning message and he called back within a half hour of the store being open – I love that. He’s very knowledgeable about repairing hot tubs and was able to diagnose the problem over the phone. The last time we had a service visit, Andy took GREAT care of us. After fixing the problem efficiently and effectively he gave me repair and operation advice that was super helpful. Both Duane and Andy seem to really care about helping clients and go above and beyond the call of duty. After owning our first hot tub for nearly 5 years, I have one piece of advice for potential buyers: we were wowed by the colorful lights and pictured ourselves having lots of hot tub parties. The reality is that the hot tub is our sanctuary and we tend to enjoy it in solitude. My recommendation is to go for simplicity without all the bells and whistles, which we now never use. I encourage the manufacturer to go for RELIABILITY above all else.

We had them to relocate a pool table for us and re-carpet on 7/25/2016. They were onsite on time at the house I was buying the table from. They removed it in a very timely manor while respecting the seller’s home. They installed and re-carpeted the table at my home shortly thereafter. We had an issue a few days later with a small piece of carpet that had came out on the side rail. I called and Jeremy jumped right on it and got us on schedule. The repairman came out on time and made the repair. We are very satisfied and I would highly recommend them!

Duane is incredible. After several years, way beyond the five year warranty, of use my jet pump had corroded gaskets that were leaking water and limiting power. I brought the pump in and a couple of days later picked it up and was not charge anything for the repairs. That is but one of several excellent service experiences with Duane for two hot tubs I purchased from Atlantic.

I just had a GREAT experience with their service department. Just to get a few things I need to say out of the way before I begin: I have a 1991 Hot Springs Grandee that needed its very FIRST service call in 25 years. Think about it. TWENTY FIVE YEARS OLD. Why anyone would buy any other brand than Hot Springs is beyond me. The counter folks at Atlantic Spas know the product, and stock parts for old models. They even had a new cover for my 25 year old tub, in stock, and in the color I wanted. Always very courteous and helpful, over the years, although I haven’t needed much. My service experience with Duane, the technician, was simply the best repair experience I have had in decades. I am a long time auto repair shop owner, so I know great service when I see it. Sadly, great service is no longer the norm in our society, so it really stands out when it is provided. I live in Johnston Co. I expected a repair visit with a service charge to see what was wrong with the tub, then a second visit (and associated charge) to install the parts they had to order, then maybe a third trip because something old would crumble when Duane made the first repair. NO!! This guy shows up with everything needed to repair the tub, based only on a phone conversation, and his years of experience. He made a heat element repair, updated some wiring, and repaired a couple of minor things he saw with his experienced eye BEFORE they became a problem. When, as I suspected, water pipes crumbled, he went back to his truck and found some repair alternatives that didn’t require a trip back to Raleigh. When he was finished, he gave me a bill for the big part he used, and the two hours labor(very reasonable rate) he spent on the job. No “trip charges” or “mileage fee”, even though I live 30 miles from their shop. It was evident throughout the process that he truly CARED about customer satisfaction. If he were an automotive technician, I would have offered him a job on the spot! Anyone can sell you a hot tub or pool table. Damn few have any level of decent service after the sale. Atlantic Spas DOES. End of story.

Great Service! Great people! I’ve had my old hot tub worked on by them twice over the past 5 years and Andy always does a thorough job. They never try to oversell you. I called for a problem this morning and Duane walked me through a simple fix over the phone. No charge! I wish all the service folks I dealt with were half as good as these guys.

Our hot tub sprung a leak during last winters freezing weather. I located the leak on one of the pump unions. I went to several other area spa/pool dealers and no one had any ideas on how to get one other that order it. When I called Atlantic, Duane returned my call and said that they should be able to fix it. I made the 15 minute drive to the showroom and Duane looked at the part and said, “Oh no, that is a unique thread fitting.” The hot tub is twenty years old, and I couldn’t find much information on it so I wasn’t surprised. I asked Duane if he could order one, and he said, “Hold on for a minute, I’ll be right back.” He went out to the back of the building and in a few minutes, came back with a reclaimed part and some fittings that would do the trick. When I asked what I owed him, he said, well, that came from our reclaim pile and a few fittings. Take it on the house. He also gave me good advice on how to install the part so there would be no leaks. I was blown away. Here is a man that understands customer service. If you want to work with someone who is honest, customer service oriented and is just generally a kind and good person, I suggest you visit Atlantic Spas and Billiards. This is the kind of place that Americans should be proud of. I will certainly be going back there for any of my pool or spa needs!

Thank you Duane I bought my Grandee this past fall and I’m very happy with the purchase. I recently had a problem with the spa and called Atlantic for service. Duane returned my call and made changes to his schedule so he could drive to Fayetteville to determine the cause of the problem. Within an hour of his arrival, my spa was up and running again. Ok, going to make this short and sweet. If you buy a hot tub from anywhere else, you’re an idiot. ——– Phoebe was fantastic. We had purchased a special order tub (New) and after waiting a couple of weeks, it arrived. We filled it, warmed it, and when we turned it on, the Jet power of this particular tub was well below our expectations. – We called Phoebe and explained that it just wasn’t as we expected, and Phoebe researched what options we had, and went WELL above and beyond our hopes, and got us into another tub, installed and swapped the other tub and now we are VERY HAPPY. We had shopped several other places in Raleigh/Durham and every other place we stopped in, you thought you were bothering the sales people. Even went to a place and was greeted with “Are you Lost?” – “No we are looking to purchase a hot tub.\” – “Well we have them, that’s one, and there’s another one.” Needless to say, he didn’t get the sale. Phoebe knows her stuff and Atlantic Spas and Billiards stand by their product and customers. In an age when “Customer Service” is a marketing term, it’s great to deal with a company and a person that actually knows what Customer Service really is. Very happy. I gotta go soak.

Pros: Solid products/prices and outstanding staff Although we are over an hour from Atlantic Spas and Billiards, we initially selected them due to their fair pricing (the Fayetteville Hot Springs dealership sells identical spas and accessories for exorbitantly more money). Since purchasing our Grandee, we have experienced stellar customer service and support from both the staff and the service department. For example, just today we were experiencing difficulty with our hot tub due to some damage that occurred while we were on vacation. I called and spoke with a staff member named Bill, who went well out of his way to provide me with information. Bill then talked with the service department and called me back with even more information than he had initially provided. About an hour later, I received yet another call– this time from Duane in the service department. Duane provided me with additional tips and advice… all at no cost. The in-person service calls that we have had with Duane have been pleasant and efficient, and he goes the extra mile. I have learned that when you purchase a spa, you’re also inheriting the dealership. I’m thankful that we ended up with this one.

I called up Atlantic Spas and Billiards and talk to Gene about getting service on our hot tub. I needed a few things repaired; the auxiliary panel to turn on and off the jets and lights, the cover over the outside panel light, and the tub was not sounding like it was pumping the water through the jets right. The guy in the office gave me a day that a service person would be out the following week. We got a call on Tuesday saying that someone will be out on Wednesday, our scheduled day. When that day came I called to find out the time frame that service would be out. I did not get the name of the person who answered the phone, but, he said oh, you never called back and we are really backed up it won’t be until next week someone can come out. To say the least I was not pleased. Later that same afternoon my daughter took a call saying that service would be out the next day Thursday between 1:00 and 4:00. The next day when I got home the service person was there trying to figure out what I needed to have done. Apparently the work sheet he had was not very accurate in what I said was wrong with the hot tub. So, this service person was Andy. I explained what was wrong and he knew exactly what I meant. Even when my explanation included whichamacallits and thingymado’s. Andy was great he took the time to explain about every part needed to be replaced and why they might wear out so fast. Also, he explained how to keep all the parts in longer working order and to keep my water level up higher than I was previously told. Andy was very professional, knowledgeable and personable in his service visit to our home. I would recommend Andy to any of my friends to service their hot tubs, and I will only ask for Andy when I need service on our hot tub again.

Andy came out for a service call to see why my spa was leaking. He was very personable and helpful. He let me know what he was doing every step of the way and informed me of the \”issues\” that he found and let me know the cost of the parts and labor prior to him getting started with the repairs. Andy also was nice enough to give me the worse case scenarios so I would know what could be in store for the repair. Overall, I was very satisfied with the work that was done. If I ever need repair work done in the future, I will DEFINITELY ASK FOR ANDY!!!!
